Blueberry Banana Oats

It must be Monday because I am already forgetting things and feel completely out of it. I made such a point to remember to bring my camera to work but just realized I forgot the USB cord! I will give a nice little summary of my food from yesterday without the pictures.

A few hours after my delicious pancake breakfast, I was still full but just felt like snacking so I had a Chobani with grapes and chocolate chips. The boy had one too and still went in the kitchen to have another snack after. I was so full but when he brought out apples and peanut butter, I could not resist.

We both decided we needed to get out of the house since all we felt like doing was eating. We walked in the rain to the Barbershop so he could get a hair cut and then took the subway to Blockbuster to get another movie. I got all cranky because I felt so gross and full and we pretty much sat around all weekend without exercise. I insisted that we walk home from Blockbuster which is a 20 minute walk. It did help me feel a little better.

A few hours later we made turkey wraps for dinner again. I promise tonight will be a more interesting dinner. We watched Eagle Eye and drank a little. He brought out Snow Caps during the movie and kept giving me handfuls. I need to remember that he can eat a lot more than me without gaining weight. He really continuously eats and nothing happens. I woke up feeling like I gained a few pounds. Every meal I stuffed myself to the point where it was uncomfortable and I kept eating when I was not hungry. Yuck. I told him to stop letting me eat every time he does from now on!

I got to work and made Archer Farms Blueberry Almond Oats.

I added half a banana, skim milk, and cinnamon.

I am going to try to get to the gym at lunch and after work to make myself feel better. I also had to take my measurements for a dress yesterday and seeing actual numbers made me upset too. I usually avoid the scale just out of fear because I hate seeing the numbers. I would rather go by how my clothes fit. Oh well, I will try to make up for it this week! I will look at it as a wake up call rather than stressing about the numbers. On another note, here is a contest for you to enter!

I am jealous of most men’s metabolism also. Wouldn’t it be great to not have to think so much about how much we are eating all the time!

I have to agree with the other readers. It’s annoying how guys can hoover up food and it doesn’t show at all! Not fair!
I’m sure it’s just a passing thing though. Hopefully your trip to the gym will get you feeling back to normal!
