Hello! I am about to head to Philly to pick up this little one….
I figured I’d do a little recap of Friday before I go since I will be too busy playing with Daisy the whole weekend!
I brought a peanut butter, jelly, and banana sandwich to eat for lunch yesterday. When I got to work, I realized I had no oatmeal left in my desk so I ate it for breakfast instead!
Note: Very good when hungover.
For lunch I went up to the cafe in my office. They have really good food! I got a salad with salmon, string beans, quinoa, and hearts of palm.
Delicious! I also had half a Larabar before lunch and half after.
After work, I went downtown and met up with Megan since we were both a little early for the blogger meetup! We went into a random sketchy bar and got Blue Moons.
We then headed over to a vegetarian restaurant called Quantam Leap.
Unfortunately Ellen was unable to make it because she hurt her hip and back and ended up in the hospital! We plan to go out again before she heads back home in a few weeks! There was 7 of us and we had a great time: Marina, me, Megan, Katie, Elise, Olga, and Ada. I only met Olga a few times before so it was great meeting a bunch of new bloggers!
I got a veggie burger with portabello mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, and pesto on a whole wheat bun. It came with salad and grilled vegetables.
It was seriously so good. I could not tell at all it was a veggie burger! I would definitely come back here. I have to say Megan’s yam fries were delicious too!
After dinner, we headed over to Yogurtland since a bunch of us had never been there before!
The fro-yo was self-serve!! We got to choose whatever flavor we wanted, any topping, and then they weighed it at the end. I’ve been missing out!
I got a mix of Peanut Butter, Cookies N’ Cream, and Cheesecake with strawberries and Oreos!
Yum! I will be back there soon! I had a great night and can’t wait to meet up with everyone again!
I am off to go catch the train to Philly! Have a good weekend!

I get so excited whenever ANY place has peanut butter soft serve, I'm so jealous! We don't have any special fro yo places around here, only United Dairy Farmers (not too special)
The Quantan Leap restaurant sounds fantastic! I love a vegetarian restaurant that serves food that makes me not miss meat!

I am so upset I missed out- and DYING to go to Quantum now! Would you go back?..Or can meet you on your lunch break to go to Europa? Def have to plan something- I have eaten at Energy Kitchen a few times and think of you each time!

Dangg that looks like a fun meet up!!! The burger looks scrumptious…I would totally order that if I were there. Ahhh I can’t believe there’s Yogurtland in NYC!!! You guys are so lucky *sniff* DAMN Chicago…nobody wants to come here. Do they have taro flavored froyo at Yogurtland? That’s my favorite!!!
