Hello! Thank you for all the birthday wishes on my last post! It was a very fun weekend! I will do a recap of my festivities!
Friday
After work Dori took me out to dinner for some margaritas at a Mexican restaurant called Cilantro! We made sure to only have one drink since she was running a 10K the next morning. Luckily one was all we needed! The margaritas were giant and strong!
The chips were amazing too! They weren’t your typical tortilla chip. They were more like veggie chips with a few tortilla chips mixed in! I felt a little better about eating a ton of them even though they probably aren’t that much healthier than chips. It was my birthday so who cares!? Loved the fresh salsa too.
We both went with the Vegeterian Fajitas. They were delicious!
We asked for extra guacamole instead of sour cream and pico de gallo.
I could live on guacamole. YUM. The fajitas came with whole wheat tortillas which was a nice added bonus! I really loved Cilantro! Good choice Dori!
I’m sure you can all guess where we went to next….
It wouldn’t be a real birthday without The Lite Choice! I got Cookies N’ Cream. We were sad when they charged us for Any Flavor Any Time. I don’t think that is supposed to happen. Oh well..totally worth it!
Saturday
I had school Saturday and Sunday so I am having my real birthday celebration next weekend. It was “Dress for Success” day at school on Saturday!
It was fun getting all dressed up. It was more fun wearing sweatpants and flip flops to school on Sunday though! Class was amazing! I will talk more about that in another post! Saturday night we went to Melissa’s rooftop for a BBQ. The view is amazing!
My new goal in life is to move to her apartment complex one day. I would be on the rooftop every single night of my life! We had a great time there.
Sunday
It was rough waking up for school after lots of sangria and vodka but I did it. Class started with some Masala Bhangra! I was so excited when Sarina Jain showed up on stage! The quick 20 minutes of dancing woke me up!! After school my friend Kaity took me out for a birthday dinner at 5 Burro! I had 2 of these…
I went with the Grilled Shrimp Mexican Salad. Amazing as always!
Perfect way to end the weekend! I am looking forward to more celebrations next weekend! Tonight I will be getting back into workout mode with some Core Fusion Cardio. It’s been about a month since I’ve gone to a Core Fusion class so I am pretty excited!
*Stay tuned for a giveaway tomorrow!

I love Mexican, but I never get fajitas because I hate the self-assembly. Those tortilla chips look amazing! Happy birthday!

The chips, FAJITAS, and margaritas all look amazing. I always get fajitas when I go to a Mexican restaurant, and I’m never disappointed. As for the ritas, well, I wish I would have just stuck to one this weekend. I surely didnt’…..yikes.
