Hello on this rainy day! It never ends! It looks like the weekend should be okay so that is good! I am trying to plan fun things for my birthday weekend including the beach so I am praying for nice weather. We’ll see!
Breakfast yesterday was Kashi Honey Sunshine with granola and a banana.
It was my last packet of Kashi, finally. I did not love it but I bought 5 boxes from Amazon months ago so I had to use it up! I would rather eat plain oats since I add so many things in anyway!
I went to the gym at lunch and did 33 minutes on the elliptical. I am happy I did because I had one of those afternoons where I could not stop snacking!!
Lunch was the exact turkey, ham and cheese sandwich that I had for dinner on Monday night! It is a lot easier to make 2 at once!
I had Michael Season’s Baked Multigrain chips on the side.
I really enjoyed these. They were light and crispy with a slight salty taste.
An hour later, the munchies began. My first snack was Sahale Pomegranate and Vanilla cashews.
Delicious!! I was sad when he bag was done!
Next up…World of Grains blueberry cookies.
I loved these! They tasted like sugar cookies with blueberries in the middle!
I also had a Kashi TLC baked apple bar! I don’t know what was wrong with me. I think I just saw each thing sitting in my desk and grabbed them without thinking about it. Usually I only leave one snack in my desk which I obviously need to continue doing!
After work I went to the Mets/Phillies game with the boy and my friend Kaity. Kaity works for the Mets so we get to go again tonight too!
We sat in the club box section with a fancy Caesar’s Palace area. They had a private bar and great food!
They had whole wheat pizza! I decided to be good and go with the salad!
I got to choose 5 toppings.
I got grilled chicken, cucumber, hard boiled egg, broccoli, and feta cheese. It was definitely the best thing I’ve ever eaten at a baseball game! I love how much they packed in the container too!
I also had a beer, or maybe three by the end of the game
The game was very fun even though the Phillies lost by 1! Hopefully they win tonight!
Love the new stadium too!
I got home and had more Michael Season’s chips with hummus. Stupid munchies!
This morning I woke up bright and early again to meet my sister at the gym for spin! Her gym is pretty close to my work so it was perfect timing. We started off doing a few tricep exercises before class. They were definitely exercises I could do at home too.
Spin was really good. It was a substitute teacher but he was so energetic and funny. I was drenched after the first 5 minutes! After 20 minutes I was dying but felt great when the 45 minute mark hit! My sister got the instructor’s card after so we can find out his schedule.
I showered at my sister’s apartment and made it to work right on time. I will probably go with her more often because it definitely makes it harder to sleep in when I know I have plans to meet her. The gym she goes to is also a lot nicer than the one by my work. There is a pool so I really want to swim one day too!
I am off to go to lunch. I don’t think I will be needing to work out again after this morning’s class. My legs are so sore! It will be nice to relax instead.
Have a nice day!

Wow, I'm very impressed they have salads there! I looooove baseball games. It's so mandatory to drink at least a beer or two (or more) when you're at one.
I need to take spinning! I'm sure it would kick my ass.

yum, your munches look delish! especially those cashews…
i've tried spinning a couple of times but never without any sort of instruction. i think i'd like to learn how to do it properly, haha.

NO HOTDOGS FOR YOU! Get the salad again
I totally agree on finding someone to workout with in the mornings – knowing they are there waiting gets me out of bed. Otherwise, I just cozy up and hit snooze.
