Back to Work

Happy Friday! I am so happy the weekend is here since I still have that tired, weak feeling going on. It will be nice to sleep in for 2 days. For now I will just drink some coffee :)

Yesterday I ended up not going out to dinner because the lunch and pudding kept me full till 9:00 at night so it would have been too late. As I was browsing through my cabinets looking for something to eat, I noticed the 2 pudding packets that I thought I ate at lunch. I asked my friend and he said he only made the Sugar Free, Fat Free box! I had no idea we didn’t use the other 2 packets! I guess that makes me feel a little better about finishing off the entire bowl!

We were boring and made the same exact thing for dinner as we had for lunch. There weren’t too many other options because I don’t think Boca Sausages and Morningstar Farms Burgers works for him! Turkey wraps are nice and easy so I did not mind!

We ate the wraps with a bag of Popchips! I only have 1 bag left! Ah!!

We also had to glasses of rum and crystal lite throughout the night.
I went in my room to watch TV and he puts all of this in front of me!

Wow I need a pedicure! I mixed the Chobani, chocolate chips, and grapes together. He put a dollop of whipped cream on my yogurt but that was too much dairy for me!

I woke up at 4 in the morning feeling hungry. I decided to try out one of my new Quaker True Delight bars!

I pulled out the Dark Chocolate Raspberry Almond to try.

I took a bite first and then snapped a picture while I was half asleep. The first bite was okay but I did not taste any chocolate. As I ate more and more of the bar, I got into the chocolate chunks which I loved. Overall i enjoyed it but I don’t think I loved it enough to go out and buy. It did the trick to fix my middle of the night hunger at least!

I woke up this morning dreading coming to work. I just wanted to sleep forever. I finally forced myself up since I knew taking another sick day was not an option.

I made some banana cinnamon oats when I got here.

I topped it with Gerber Freeze Dried Apples and skim milk.

So good! I am on coffee #2 now! I am not sure if I will go to the gym today, maybe just a quick workout at lunch since my legs feel weak. I have tons of e-mails to check since I was home yesterday so I better go! Have a good Friday!

I think I am the only person who has not tried a quaker delights bar! Thanks for the review. And thanks for the gum response on my blog. I kind of think of gum in terms of money do I want to spend $2 a day on something I don’t really enjoy or save that $14 for a trip or manicure or something.

But I think gum chewing is a pretty tame habit!

Melissa: You are right. Chewing gum really is starting to get expensive! I guess it is better than smoking though!

So I have now hear the Banana Coconut Macadamia Nut Quaker True Delight bars are good, and now I have a review on the chocolate raspberry, hehe. I am narrowing down which box to splurge my money on. Going back to work after a day off is always hard, but at least it’s Friday (so happy about this!). Anyways, I hope the rest of your day at work isn’t too painful :) Take care!

I think that is hilarious that you remembered to snap a picture at 4 in the morning.

Hope you are making it through your Friday back at work. Not too much longer. :)

P.S. I loved whipped cream on my yogurt concoctions. Your friend had the right idea!
