Are You a Blog Addict?

Happy Hump Day! Well I am starting this on Tuesday night since I have a lot of work to do tomorrow but I am pretty sure I will be passing out soon! So happy Pre-Hump Day! I like it.

I just got back from a blogger meetup with Mari from Namaste and we are texting each other about how we both jumped right on our computers and plugged our camera cords in. I called us computer nerds. She called as blog addicts. Both? I’d say so!

Anyway, since I forgot my camera cord yesterday, I will recap back to Monday! I’ll make it short and sweet since there are lots of yummy food pics to show you!

I had the usual bowl of oats for breakfast and a coffee from the health food store. Only $1.50 for a medium. So long Starbucks!

1 1/2 packets of 365 instant, 1 banana, cinnamon, skim milk, and Artisana Raw Cashew butter! One of these days it will change.

I’m pretty sure I had a Z-Bar before lunch because oatmeal doesn’t fill me up till 1:00 sometimes! Definitely need to mix it up!

Lunch was yummy. I had leftover Japanese food from Sunday night!


I used soy sauce as dressing. Had nothing else!

This was my dad’s leftovers. It was sweet potato and mushroom tempura, 3 California rolls, and teryaki bean sprouts. Remind me never to put tempura in the microwave the next day. It got all mushy and gross! I pealed most of the fried stuff off. No fun when it is not crunchy!

I snacked on a Tropical Tart Larabar later in the afternoon just because it was there. I have to be honest and say that it was the worst Larabar I’ve ever tried! I don’t even know why I finished the whole thing. Pretty much because I suck at throwing out food. The weird pineapple flavor really made me nauseous. Won’t be buying that one again!

After work I did 45 minutes on the elliptical because I knew it was going to be another long night of drinking!

The roommate and I went to Tap House on Austin Street-the same bar we went to the night before. The bartender was so nice and put on the Phillies game right where we were sitting. We had a few Bud Light Limes and then ordered some dinner. Everything on the menu looked like typical bar food…burgers, chicken fingers, wings…..

Eventually I spotted something that sounded delicious!

A grilled chicken sandwich with avocado, goat cheese, lettuce, tomato, honey mustard, and a side of mesculin greens!! Yum!!

I gave Jackie my bread because I decided I would rather have some of her fries! Trying to practice that balance thing! I turned my meal into a grilled chicken, avocado, goat cheese salad. Perfect!

The bartender let us have the 4th beer for free! Wahoo!

The Phillies were losing the whole game but they scored a home run in the very last inning with 2 outs! Yay!!

We got home around 12:30. We were both pretty hungry again…..or just had those drunk munchies!

I had one of those little sample boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios with a piece of banana and some raisins.

What is your favorite drunk munchy food??

Mine is anything fried but I try to be good! I love going to the diner and getting omelets and toast! Yum!

I got in bed by 1 am, missed my 6 am wake up call for the gym today, and got out of bed at 7:20! Lots of coffee was necessary this morning! I think that is why I am so awake right now. Melatonin time!

Hmm…okay I was going to do one big post but I’ll save the blogger meetup for tomorrow! Good Night!!!
