Apple Cinnamon Oats

Good morning on this freezing Monday. Blah I don’t want to start the work week! I will recap from Sunday after my brunch.

I ended up going food shopping buy just buying a few essentials for the week. I have to be careful about my spending since I just got the new camera and probably lost $60 from the subway. Of course the fog is gone from my pictures now that I spent all that money on the camera! Oh well!

I spent the rest of the night doing 3 loads of laundry and watching “My Best Friend’s Sister.” It is the movie with Dane Cook. It was one of those stupid but funny movies. It was nice to watch something funny because my friend found something extremely embarrassing in my room right before so it was nice to watch the movie to make him forget! If you really want to know, e-mail me but I do not want to post what it was on here!

For dinner I made a turkey wrap.

It had 2 slices Alpine Lace White American Cheese, 2 slices Boards Head Low Sodium Turkey, hummus, mustard, lettuce, cucumbers, and pickles on a honey wheat wrap.

With a bag of Salt & Pepper Popchips on the side.

I also cut up tons of cucumber to dip in my new Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. Best hummus ever!

During the movie I ate a Chobani with grapes for a nice dessert.

I was so restless in my sleep last night. I feel like I got about 3 hours total. I think the half an aderrall I took kept me up. At least it helped me clean extremely well!
This morning I got pushed onto the extremely crowded subway….

… and made myself a cup of coffee when I arrived. (There was no Awake Tea Left)

I added skim milk and 1 Splenda. I hate adding Splenda since I have enough stomach problems from the artificial sweetener in my Orbit gum. This coffee seriously needed something though. What can you expect from free office coffee! Hopefully my tummy will be okay.
Today’s oatmeal ingredients:

It came out just like Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal from the old days but without all the added sugar.

The apples melted so nicely into the oats. Very yummy. I would have liked a banana in there too but I was late to work today so I had no time to pick them up.
I actually have real work to do today so I better go. See ya for lunch!

That is a great idea adding the dried fruit to your oatmeal! Is the bag of it very expensive?

I think they were around $3.00 per bag from Target. Not bad since there are 4 servings per bag. Such a great snack and oatmeal topping!

I’m glad I am not the only one! I chew about 2 packs a day! It makes my stomach go crazy with gas and bloating. It also makes me go..a lot usually the next morning! One time I had to leave work because I got such bad pains from it. I seriously have an addiction!

I have tried with real apples too. Very yummy! I think I do not use real ones more because of all the chopping required! It is probably much cheaper to do it that way though!
