I know this is supposed to be a health and fitness blog, but I like sugar. I think we should all allow ourselves to indulge sometimes and enjoy treats in moderation, especially around the holidays. I go to the gym about 5 days a week, so I know a cupcake here and there will not kill me. It was my lucky day at work last week when I received this pretty, golden package.
Look what was inside!
The package is from a cake company called Dulce Desserts. They create custom-designed cakes and, as you can see, beautiful cupcakes and desserts. I felt bad even eating these pretty desserts but my coworker decided we needed to sample everything right away!
Yes, a candy cane, chocolate-covered marshmallow. Amazing!
Shots at work?
Yes. Inside was mousse and some sort of brownie chunk.
This was a sugar cookie with a chocolate gingerbread man. YUM.
A Santa chocolate truffle…so cute and delicious! Sorry Santa!
And then it was time for the cupcakes…
Red Velvet, Coconut, and Gingerbread I believe? They were awesome.
And finally, this Lemon Miringue beauty.
My coworkers and I were all very impressed with the flavors, taste, and presentation of the desserts. I will be purchasing my wedding cake from them (one day)!
