Yesterday after work, I decided to go to Total Body Conditioning class at the gym. Since I stopped doing the Shred, I decided some weight lifting would be a good idea!
Before class, I had a pre-workout snack of Flanigan Farms Nuts ‘N’ Things.
Very good! The bag contained dry roasted peanuts, California raisins, sunflower seeds, cashews, almonds, and pumpkin seeds. For just 130 calories, it made the perfect snack to give me some fuel for the gym.
Total Body Conditioning was great last night. It can be hit or miss depending on the teacher but I really enjoyed it last night. I am very sore today which is good! I could barely do the ab moves since my abs were still sore from yoga! My dream is to have some nice abs so I was excited about the pain! I did 20 minutes on the elliptical after and went home.
I got home feeling starving and had no clue what to eat for dinner. The first thing I saw was a piece of leftover Kashi pizza so I devoured it to hold me over till I made a real dinner.
I had that slice plus another one. They are much smaller than they look in the picture so I was starving again in an hour.
I decided to make a Morningstar Farms Mushroom Lover’s Burger.
I brought out a bag of BBQ popchips to munch on too!
Along with some edamame!
I added Cedar’s hummus and cucumbers for dipping. Fun dinner!
Just one problem…I took a bite of the burger and really hated it! You might remember me eating these every night if you’ve been reading my blog for a while. They were my favorite dinner ever. I guess I over did it because it tasted gross to me last night! I tend to do that with food, eat the same thing every single day for months and then one day, end up hating it. I guess I should stop eating turkey sandwiches every day
I threw out the burger and stuck with the popchips, edamame, and hummus. I was not completely satisfied so I had a little mini sample bag of plain popchips and hummus after.
I was happy to keep it light for dinner knowing what was about to come for dessert!
Look what arrived in the mail a few days ago!
A few weeks ago, I went to the Always Infinity Cocktail Event and met some really great people. Ferrero chocolates saw that I did product reviews and offered to send me some samples to try! Of course I agreed since I am chocolate obsessed. I decided to sample all of the chocolate with my boyfriend last night.
The first box was new Ferrero Rondnoir dark chocolates.
The second box contained a Ferrero Collection with Rocher chocolates, Garden Coco confections, and Rondnoir Chocolates.
I was very excited to try the new Ferrero Rondnoir dark chocolates, especially since Niki told me they were only 1 Weight Watchers point per piece!
Rondnoir dark chocolates are a unique combination of a creamy, dark chocolates are a unique combination of creamy, dark chocolate surrounding a “black pearl” of fine dark chocolate, within a delicate, crisp wafer…topped with crunchy dark chocolate morsels.
I cut that beautiful ball of chocolate in half to check out the inside!
I had half and the boy had the other half. The verdict…amazing!!! It was light and crunchy on the outside with soft creamy chocolate inside! 4 pieces contain 220 calories, 14 grams of fat, 21 grams of carbs, 16 grams of sugar, and 3 grams of protein. I love that the serving size is 4 pieces since just 1 is very satisfying! Delicious!
Next we tried the Rocher chocolates.
Rocher chocolates are a tempting combination of luscious, creamy, chocolaty filling surrounding a whole hazelnut, within a delicate, crisp wafer…all enveloped in milk chocolate and finely chopped hazelnuts.
Once again, so good!! The outside was crunchy and there was soft chocolate surrounding the hazelnut. Usually the boy hates nuts in his food but he loved this! He decided that he is a fan of hazelnuts now!
Last but not least, we tried the Garden Coco confections.
Garden Coco confections are a savory combination of rich coconut cream surrounding a sweet almond, within a delicate, crisp wafer..topped with meringue and shredded coconut.
We were both a little skeptical to try this one because we do not like coconut. We decided to give it a chance anyway. I did not like it at all since the coconut flavor was so strong. The boy liked the almond center but not the outside. Anyone who likes coconut would definitely love this though!
All of the Ferrero Collection confections contain 230 calories, 16 grams of fat, 18 grams of carbs, 15 grams of sugar, and 3 grams of protein. The serving size is 4 pieces so not bad at all!
This was definitely my best taste test yet since starting my blog! I’m sure these will be gone by the weekend! They were so delicious!

I agree- those mushroom burgers are disgusting! I can’t stand that flavor or Dr. Praegers. Blek! The chocolate looks amazing especially the hazelnut and coconut. But, if I ate all the chocolate before bed i’d never be able to sleep.

Ooooh, is Nikki listening?!
Can I get a sample of those chocolates, too? I *love* the dark ones — I have had them before. And I LOVED that they’re just a point. YUM!
